What you will see on your statement. Polar Software Inc. sells this to you
as merchant of record: they are the seller on your receipt, and they handle payment, VAT
and sales tax. What appears on your card statement is set in their account settings and is
shown to you on the checkout page before you pay. We license you the software; the receipt
comes from them.
How the licence works
- You pay on Polar's checkout page. We never see your card.
- After payment, the return page shows your licence key and tries to activate the extension. To paste the key yourself, click the extension icon, open Settings, enter the key and press Activate.
- In Settings, choose Allow reading page text and approve Chrome’s request. Then open or reload pages you want captured. Older pages need another visit; the purchase cannot recover text never captured.
- No account with us. Polar asks for your email at checkout to send your receipt.
Prices are in US dollars. Checkout shows the final total and applicable tax before you pay.
