Terms of use
Short, because the product is. Channel Blocklist is free, has no account, takes no payment and sends nothing anywhere. Most of what a terms page usually covers does not arise here.
Who you are dealing with
Metric Rise FZE LLC (Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone, UAE, trade licence 262235415888) develops this extension and grants you the licence to use it. Google distributes it through the Chrome Web Store and is not a party to that licence. There is no third party in the middle, because there is nothing to pay for.
The licence
You may use the extension on as many machines as you like, for as long as you like, for anything lawful. You may not sell it, republish it as your own, or strip out the parts of it you like and ship those. That is the whole restriction.
What we do not promise
The extension reads the structure of pages on a site we do not control. When that site changes its markup, blocking can break until we catch up. We check the extension against the live site rather than only against fixtures, which is what catches those breaks, but we cannot promise it never happens.
The software is provided as it is, with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from it is limited to what you paid us for it, which is nothing.
If it goes away
If we stop maintaining this extension we will say so on this site rather than letting it rot quietly. Nothing switches off remotely: there is no licence check in it and no server that could turn it off, so a copy you have installed keeps working whether or not we are still here.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are heard in the courts of Ajman, UAE. Nothing here removes consumer rights you hold where you live.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. We will not change the deal retroactively for something you have already installed.
